Paula Veale

Paula leads all aspects of marketing, public relations, and events for the Ad Council and its 30-plus public service communications programs.

In 2018, she led the organization’s most significant rebrand, expanding and transforming how the Ad Council convenes purpose-driven conversations.

Additionally, Paula oversees the Ad Council's fundraising events, which raised more than $5.4 million for the organization last year.

Under her leadership, the Ad Council initiated Creators for Good, an award-winning talent engagement program for digital creators, actors, musicians, and athletes who want to use their powerful platforms to create change on behalf of social causes.

Paula has served on numerous boards including The Ad Club of New York's ANDY Committee, The American Cancer Society of New York's Communications and Marketing Advisory Committee, the Advisory Committee of The Strang Cancer Prevention Center's Child Health Initiative, the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF), Kindred, and Water.org.

She currently resides in Irvington, New York with her husband, Dan McGiffin, and their son, Iain.
